The King of wearable couture, Alexander McQueen, who’s death is still fresh on everyone’s minds, final collection was shown in Paris on March 9, 2010. What was a start of a medieval inspired collection, only finished the continued wondering of what the other looks would have been. This may end up being his most famous collection, for more reasons than it being his last. The Royalness he created with the shapes, while still maintaining to keep it light is remarkable. The 16 outfits displayed were only 80 percent complete at the time of his passing. McQueen had been studying medieval[…]

Karl never fails to do it big, the passion he puts behind his collections are undeniable. On March 9, 2010 in Paris he showed his Chanel Fall/Winter Collection to the World. Tromping down the runway in ice block heels the models were decked out in fur, thankfully for those who are against real fur, it was all faux.
The chunks of iceberg that were present were transported all the way from Scandinavia for the event. Karl's collection was original as always, trying things most would shy away from. That being full length fur pants, and trims no one[…]

Probably the best part of the Oscars is picking out the worst dressed. How terrible, but not that hard this year. Again, three ladies stood out the most.First, Charlize Theron, the color and fit were perfect, but what was with those cinnabuns over her boobs? Her makeup and hair were flawless, it's a shame the dress had that detailing... Jennifer Lopez was probably my biggest pet peeve at the Oscars, I wanted to fix her frizzy hair, and cut off that thing she had attached to her side. She honestly looked like one of those motorcycles with the side car. […]

Among the competitors for Best Director were the once married Kathryn Bigelow for “The Hurt Locker”, and James Cameron for “Avatar”. It was hard to predict a winner for this group seeing as “The Hurt Locker” seemed to be a favorite for the Oscars.
Kathryn Bigelow’s name was the one called; “The Hurt Locker” was such a success it ended up snagging the award for Best Picture as well. The Iraq War drama clearly had an affect on audiences, Bigelow was the first woman in the 82-year history of the Oscars to earn Hollywood's top prize for filmmakers.
"It's[…]

Best Leading Actor at the Academy Awards went to Jeff Bridges for his role in “Crazy Heart” he beat out George Clooney, Colin Firth, Morgan Freeman, and Jeremy Renner.
"Thank you mom and dad for turning me on to such a groovy profession," stated the newly titled best leading actor. He went on to praise the award as an honor for his parents as much as it was to his own self.
Like Bullock, Jeff Bridges was nominated four times in the past with no Oscar under his belt. His time came this year, but may not have happened since[…]

Sandra Bullock can finally add that shiny gold man to her awards, she has been nominated in the past, four times, with out winning. BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
CATEGORY: Original screenplay
INTERVIEW WITH: Mark Boal
FILM: "The Hurt Locker"
Q. Hi, Mark. What prompted you to write this particular screenplay? What is it about that subject matter that drew you to write?
A. In a way, I thought it was an eye opening and inspiring let's just say I had an eye opening experience in Baghdad in the end of 2004, and I thought that the story of these guys who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world would be an interesting way to look at the war in a broader[…]

More amusing than a pop-up book, Alec Baldwin, and Steve Martin were absolutely hilarious in the opening. I cannot look at Alec Baldwin with out thinking of the movie Team America, but I have to say I forgot about it while this duo was on stage. What was with them picking on George Clooney though!
When they put on 3-D glasses to see James Cameron, Avatar director, I lost it! James Cameron will be going up against ex-wife, Kathryn Bigelow tonight. Fingers crossed for Avatar. Wait...what are you doing- go watch the Oscars!

One word comes to mind when talking about the Red Carpet at the Oscars this year, and that is interesting. I may be in a harsh mood, but so far only three have truly impressed me. Others are, boring, seen it before, or not age appropriate.
Starting with Amanda Seyfried, she looks glowing; her dress is the perfect color, fit and isn’t over done. She finished off the look with some stackable bracelets. Her hair is pulled back to show off her beautiful face, definitely one of my top favorites.
Second favorite so far is Sandra Bullock; she[…]
