Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera was born in Caracas, Venezuela and is the descendent from of a long line of landowners and statesmen. She had never worked outside the home until she decided to give the world of fashion a shot.

Her only previous experience in the field of fashion was collaborating with couturiers on her own made-to-order clothes (uumm…lucky?)

Well that and attending fany and fashionable parties and runway shows.

Carolina has been attending runway shows since the age of thirteen (her first was Cristobal Balenciaga’s -Um, I’m jealous).

After recieving tremendous positive feedback she decided to move her and her four girls to NYC where she could continue a career in fashion.

The rest is history!
