Good news everyone!!! Alexander McQueen’s Fashion Label To Continue!

WWD reports that the fashion brand will live on!

Robert Polet, president and chief executive officer of the Gucci Group, which has a majority stake in the McQueen line said “We believe in the future of the brand. Lee was very proud of the people working in his company, and so am I.” 

A runway presentation for the Alexander McQueen collection will be held on March 9 during Paris Fashion Week”.

The unexpected death of British designer Lee McQueen, founder and creative director of the Alexander McQueen label, after his suicide last week was a shock that sent ripples through the fashion world. His name was on everyone’s lips as tears were shed and moments of silene were taken. One thing that I heard over and over again this past week was that so many people hoped to se his legacy continue.

I am so happy to learn that the brand will indeed continue!
