Paris Fashion Week 2012: Zahia Dehar’s Lingerie Line

19 years old French Escort Zahia Dehar, taking a huge jump from “Escorting” to “Designing”

Zahia Dehar, a name commonly known in France for being one of the top “call girls” has recently changed her professional career from escorting to designing. This past Wednesday night in the magical Palais de Chaillot,Zahia presented her new lingerie collection astounding all present. With the guests being greeted by life size models of her naked body, and print outs from her book shot by Karl Lagerfeld in a bubblegum-tinted boudoir, the stage was set and the show soon began.

For this line, designer including Francois Tamarin, Bruno Legeron, and Jean-Pierre Ollier helped this upcoming star. The theme for this controversial collection was ‘women as present’ with models wearing nothing underneath ribbon tied around their body, bows covering their nipples, and tiny pink present boxes on their head. The show opened with Zahia herself in a 100% sheer dress fit to the body with very specifically placed pink pedals. As the evening moved on, pieces were presented in almost a fairy tale like fashion as they walked down the runway with extravagant angel wings, bows, and cliché French maid outfits. The pieces were appropriately named “My Cherry, “Wild Stroke,” “My Apricot,” etc… leaving very little to the imagination.

This up-and-coming designer has already had major press being on the cover of Spain’s V magazine (2011), Vanity Fair Italy in (August 2011), WWD Newspaper, and many more. Zahia has undergone an amazing transformation, from call girl to cover girl and will surely have some amazing work presented in the future.
