NYC Event: Forestdale Inc.’s Annual Gala Fundraiser

A short time ago, the charitable organization Forestdale Inc. held their Annual Gala Fundraiser at Bar & Lounge Stitch NYC. Reality stars, New York philanthropists, well-known singers, press and the public joined forces for a fabulous evening at the Midtown Lounge.

Forestdale Inc.’s main “mission is to ensure that children have the fundamental assets they need to thrive: a safe and secure home life; educational excellence and opportunity; and health and sexuality education” (quote sourced from charity’s online outlet). Furthermore, “Forestdale’s goal is to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty, homelessness and despair that cycle through multiple generations of our country – the wealthiest in the world. In order to effect systemic change, our society must come together and create a corps of volunteers as a human safety net. Funding will go toward educational opportunities and preparing youth to successfully enter the job force”. (Goal and funding facts obtained from event press release).

The evening consisted of a generous open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres, raffles, and a silent auction with countless fabulous contributions. JetBlue Airways provided a few fantastic silent auction gifts. An art gallery display was also available for guests during the charitable fundraiser.

Live performances by classical singer Pamela Stein and pop-sensation Nick Tangorra commenced half way through the party. Additionally, celebrity DJ Teal spun wicked cool tunes at Stitch NYC.

Notable celebrity attendees that came out to support the worthy cause included: PR Maven Bridget O’Brien, TV personality Karen Biehl, TV personality Grace Forster, The Bachelor‘s Prince Lorenzo Borghese, actor Gerard McNamee, Jewelry designer Mina Deutsch, TV personality/ Host Cognac Wellerlane, and socialite Caroline Loevner.
