James Franco’s latest Artistic Endeavour: Apparel Designer

A-List Celebrity, Actor, and Curator James Franco teamed up with fashion line 7 For All Mankind, to create a new collection and Fall campaign.

Seven Jeans is a denim designer brand owned by VF Corporation. This is not the first time Seven and Franco have collaborated. Earlier this year, the denim brand released a campaign, that Franco had directed. Franco, who is best known for his impressive acting roles in movies such as “127 Hours”, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” and “James Dean”, as well as for his curated multimedia art exhibition Rebel, now can add designer to his resume.

Seven’s latest collection is composed of various styled T-shirts. There are four different T-shirt designs for this celebrity designer collection. Fashion’s Night Out which will be held in various trendy locations around the World this year, is scheduled to happen on September 6th.  This new T-shirt collection will launch through Seven’s online store, during the annual FNO! Each shirt is printed with a Polaroid image, taken by Franco. What makes this a hip item is the fact that every look has the actor’s signature printed near the hemline. Additionally Franco directed the T-shirt collection’s campaign, which in total is six YouTube videos. Featured in these clips are models Lily Donaldson, Lou Doillon and Cody Horn.
