Bottega Veneta… Not To Be Messed With

Tomas Maier, designer behind the Bottega Venta 2013 RTW collection held nothing back this year in Milan.

The designs tended to offer complex motives, making statements through juxtaposition and relationships.  The materials of this tough collection consisted of detailed snakeskin and leatherwork, holding true to the Bottega Veneta tradition of leather good excellence.

Maier states he went for “clothes that blur the lines, that offer a more complex idea.”  The silhouettes designed through the cuts and fabrics gave all kinds of emotions, from soft and charming – to empowering and seductive.

With the presentation of this ready to wear line, Bottega Veneta also presented many of its up and coming leather bags.  The bags held the traditional fringed feel, cool, edgy, and all with a seductive tone of authority.

This year’s 2013 ready to wear collection from Bottega Veneta was as inspiring as it was beautiful, and we are all looking forward to seeing these designs hit the market place!
