Recently there was a private viewing for the Royals, fashion elite, celebrities and press of the Musée d’Orsay’s latest show.
The show, “Impressionism and Fashion” was composed of 60 pieces of artwork. Standout masterpieces from the exhibition included pieces by: Albert Bartholomé, Edouard Manet, James Tissot, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Gustave Caillebotte and Frédéric Bazille. The elegant imagery depicted fashionable ladies and gentlemen, with glamorous ladies styled in white gowns, stylish fans and delicate parasols. Along with the paintings, hats, apparel and vintage Louis Vuitton luggage were showcased in this exhibition. A charity dinner inside of the iconic, French Museum took place after the viewing.
Famous faces that attended the grand event included: Valentino Garavani, Kirat Young, Tasha de Vasconcelos, Christian Louboutin, Princess Clotilde Courau, Arielle Dombasle, Bernard-Henri Lévy, Countess Jacqueline de Ribes, Farida Khelfa and Pierre Bergé.
