Lisa Marie Presley Debuts Duet with Dad

Lisa Marie Presley has taken a cue from Natalie Cole (who recorded the “duet”  “Unforgettable” with her late father Nat King Cole) and recorded a “duet” with her late father Elvis Presley. The “duet” “I Love you Because” was made originally to be shared only at a special 35 year concert remembering the “King’s” passing, but was so emotional and well received that they decided to share it with the CMT audience.

“I Love You Because” was first recorded by Elvis on July 4th and 5th, 1954 at SUN Studio.

The video produced by T-Bone Burnett,  will premier on October 18th on CMT during the 8 and 10 am ET/PT music hours.
