Mega-department store Lane Crawford and J. Crew collaborate on newly focused collection in the Asian market.
The opening for Lane Crawford’s Hong Kong J. Crew shop recently took place, and a Beijing shop opening will follow soon. The new J. Crew conceptualized shop and collection will be featured in both Hong Kong and Beijing Lane Crawford Department Stores. Contemporary lines are gaining traction and in high demand. This is seen as a positive addition collaboration for both companies.
This new shop includes a more customer-focused line by J. Crew for this new market including high-end pieces for the fashion-forward target consumer. The cashmere collection by J.Crew is also available at these special locations. The J. Crew collection includes both men and women lines. Women have choices from frilly tops to plaid bottoms, to polka dot winter tops and even sequined embellished looks. A popular item for men is the 484 jean. Stores are rethinking how men could enjoy the “experience of shopping” with Lane Crawford including a liquor bar in the men’s shop. Some companies have even tried lounge couches and high definition televisions near the vicinity of the store’s products.
As with many designers, J. Crew is working on expanding their online shopping opportunity by making the product available in more than 100 markets throughout the world. Lane Crawford only recently began their online retail journey, and will continue to move this forward by offering highly regarded brands to their online consumer.
