Tokyo Fashion Week Runway Review: Kamishima Chinami

The womenswear and accessories fashion label presented a 45-look runway collection during Tokyo Fashion Week.

The ready-to-wear collection was a perfect line for the vacationing woman and fashionable intern working all summer! From collared button-downs to shift dresses to the delicate silk skirts, the modern woman is set for the warmer season in this collection. Beautifully tailored pieces were embellished, making them simple, elegant, and feminine. Each look was built on a statement piece whether it was a thin sweater with a printed skirt or a bright green pant with a white button down and jacket. Elements of nature were incorporated into print motifs on many apparel pieces. Statement colors from the Spring/ Summer 2013 show included: tangerine orange, lime green, pastel blue and neutrals.
