Retro Rack

Styles from the fifties and sixties are making a modern-day comeback.

Retro just became modern again. The flirty frocks of the fifties and the mod trends of the sixties are an iconic part of fashion history, but don’t archive it just yet! The retro look is alive and well, with its latest reincarnation trending on the runway for Spring / Summer 2016.

Warsaw-based fashion house, La Metamorphose, presented its Spring / Summer 2016 clothing line at FashionPhilosophy Fashion Week Poland. The vintage-inspired collection would put even Mad Men’s Betty Draper to shame.

Models dazzled in retro polka dot covered a-line dresses and bow tie-neck blouses. Others stood out in bright floral wrap dresses, accessorized with vintage round sunglasses and bold briefcases. Mod looked as modern as ever, with mixed-print jumpsuits and chunky patent leather ankle boots stealing the show.

See how you can bring the groove back into your wardrobe with more outfit inspiration below.
