Splashed Swimwear

Swimwear label Robb & Lulu brought some splashes of artistic flair to the runway at Miami Swim Week.

Their summer 2017 collection featured a theme of watercolor inspired fabrics that exuded a soft and effortlessly cool mood. Each piece in the swimwear line featured a colorful and varied color palette.

While some suits were covered in pastel pinks, blues, yellows, and mints, others took a more bold approach with royal blue, royal purple, sunset orange, and palm green.

Besides the busy and eye-catching watercolor prints, the entire collection also featured some interesting design details and silhouettes. Adding a bit of a conservative twist, models strutted the catwalk in suits featuring high necklines and equally high waistlines. Zippered one pieces and cap sleeves also made an unexpected appearance.

The models wore their hair down in natural beach waves, curls, and bohemian braids. Accessorized with 80s inspired hoop earrings and colorful caftans, the overall look was extremely eclectic, youthful, and relaxed.
