Silvia Bours Spring/Summer 2014 Style Fashion Week Los Angeles

Silvia Bours’ collection was very pretty, glamorous, and girly. The line featured beautiful sweetheart-neckline dresses, shimmery lace fabrics, crystal detail, and ivory, blush, and nude tones. The collection was sweet, feminine, and chic. The masquerade masks added drama to the fancy dresses. Even though the dresses were decked out in silky lace, ornate crystal designs, and gold jacquard patterns, the pieces were still fun and flirty with short hemlines, ballerina like heels, and A-line silhouettes. Loved every piece in Silvia Bours’ collection, especially the strapless dress with a pink and gold jacquard printed top and blue and white, gingham patterned skirt.

Christina Nitopi Spring/Summer 2014 Style Fashion Week Los Angeles

Christina Nitopi’s line was sassy, daring, and sexy. The curve-hugging silhouettes were unique with vibrant blues and reds, floral jacquard, shimmery, gold and textured fabrics, and feathered ruffles.

Christina Nitopi’s line was sassy, daring, and sexy. The curve-hugging silhouettes were unique with vibrant blues and reds, floral jacquard, shimmery, gold and textured fabrics, and feathered ruffles. The line was different than anything seen on the runway during the Style Fashion Week. The models’ over-the-top, Rockabilly styled hairdo was perfect with the funky gowns. Loved the gold, shimmery strapless, mermaid style gown and the red, halter gown with an ultra high slit and flower appliques. The collection contrasted between feminine and sexy and delicate and tough.

Tina Marie’s collection was mod, chic, and fun. The line featured denim maxi dresses and even bell-bottoms, geometric patterns, and skin baring off-the-shoulder tops and cropped tops. The pieces were vibrant purple, green, and crisp white. Tina Marie finished the colorful ensembles off with chandelier earrings and over-sized studs, sequined collar necklaces, and flower pins. The collection was feminine with bright whites and floral detail, mature with knee-length pencil skirts, and fun with vibrant greens and purples. One of my favorite looks was the short-sleeved, geometric laser cut, white tee paired with denim bell-bottoms and large, white earrings.

Han Ahn Soon’s collection was playful, colorful, and unique. The line featured a color scheme of primary colors mixed with pastels and large, plaid patterns. The spring 2014 collection seemed doll like with A-line silhouettes, ankle strap Mary Jane heels, and plaid patterned fabrics. The line also included more sophisticated pieces like one of my favorites-the spaghetti strapped gown with pastel lavender and mint color-blocking panels. The collection was a contrast between bright, basic colors and more unique, pastels and playful silhouettes and patterns and more simple, mature styles.

DressCamp’s spring 2014 collection was bold, unique, and vibrant with bright colors, animal printed patterns, funky footwear, and silky fabrics. The line featured one of our favorite trends-the black and white contrasting stripes and patterns. The collection was a mix of sporty with jersey, sleeveless dresses, hip with baggy silhouettes and mix-match patterns, and even girly with lace, silk, and ruffles. Everything about this collection was over-the-top, fashion forward, and daring (especially the men’s grey romper). One of our favorite looks was the colorful men’s sweatshirt with an off-centered gold zipper and matching shorts.

Day By Day Spring/Summer Style Fashion Week Los Angeles

Cute, casual, and chic is the signature of this collection.

Cute, casual, and chic is the signature of this collection. Day By Day sent his lounge/sportswear in fabulous colors down the Style Fashion Week runway and it was definitely something that looked comfortable and cozy. The hoodies, the materials the fit, it looked great without giving a sloppy, messy look. Sporty, yet definitely something you would not be embarrassed being seen in while sipping your Americano at the local coffee shop with your girlfriends.

Here a few favorites from the collection:

XCVI Spring/Summer 2014 Style Fashion Week Los Angeles

XCVI’s casual glam style showed on the Style Fashion Week Runway in Los Angeles. The collection had a neutral tone with accents of soft color.

XCVI’s casual glam style showed on the Style Fashion Week Runway in Los Angeles. The collection had a neutral tone with accents of soft color. The fabrics used were also meant to give a softer effect to this collection by draping a bit looser yet shaping to give a woman’s form curves and still be a comfortable fit for the spring/summer months.

A few dresses in the collection gave it a bit more sophistication so that the whole line can actually transition a woman from a casual day hanging with the girls into a night of cocktails with friends.

Some of the favorites of the collection:
